Fully Automatic Bead-Apex Assembly System (M/C)

Our Fully Automatic Bead-Apex Assembly System is designed to automatically extrude, form and apply a rubber apex shape onto the outside periphery of a tire bead. The system utilizes a special forming technique and applies it to the bead with automatic cutting, splicing, automatic bead loading and unloading.

It is a multi station system which applies the apex to the bead horizontally and turns it up onto the bead. Our system is capable of producing one finished specific bead diameters ranging from 14 to 24 inche per machine cycle.

The complete system is controlled via a powerful software program capable of integrating the operation of the extruded apex delivery system with the apex winding applicator and automatic product handling system. Machine parameters are digitally monitored and controlled via an Operator Interface Terminal (OIT) and menu driven touch screen.

There is the option of production runs between 7, 000 through 10, 000 assemblies in a 24 hour period, with minimal involvement of an operator.
